On the eve of releasing our last record ‘Feel Nothing’ we released this short collection of ‘home movies’ featuring moments from the three years or so and some of the sessions that preceded it. Here at We Set Sail we’re always trying to innovate. So we thought we’d make use of the high ceilings and trusses of our studio to make this new record sound as high as possible. 2019 has already swung us a couple of nice surprises but can you believe this?! After a couple of missed opportunities to hook up, we’re amazingly thankful to @lucabrasitassie for inviting us along for some SE QLD shows in March. It will be something different for us for sure and we look forward to playing a bunch of new places. ❤️❤️❤️ Also keen to have new mates @stuckoutband along as well. Over the last 3 weeks we’ve played more shows than we normally would in a year. It was fun and stressful and expensive but we do it for our fans- all 12 of them. Massive thanks to all the bands we played with including @briefhabits @we.are.barriers @safehandsband @thursdayband @qsnyc and to everyone who helped us out with gear including @horrormyfriend @camp_cope and #adriankelly now to finish this record unless it kills us first! Well what can we say about the last week. It has been surreal and sublime all at the same time. Also, a little bit bittersweet that our brother @jimmyrayj wasn’t here with us (he’s ok, he’s just in Thailand) but we managed to make this happen thanks to the help of @crick873 who managed to pick up these songs in about a week. Massive thanks to @thursdayband and @qsnyc @unifypresents and @livenationoznz for having us and big thanks to all the cool people we met along the way. @waltertown @smurffedout @tuckerrule @geoffrickly @shrimpcocktail @stevil_knevil
