show review…

stole this from a rad dude’s blog (sorry guy)

We Set Sail played next and these guys I had seen before at Rosie’s. It’s hard to put into words the sound/genre they are, but their originality and style is a breath of fresh air. The band start each little section with snippets of old news broadcasts/quotes in reference to God, Communism and all kinds of controversial topics. Each member of the band had a 8/10 piece pedal board and they really put on an interesting show. The singer faced away from the audience, which was strange but for some reason wasn’t off putting. As my friend Chris said to me:

“It really didn’t feel like they trying to be different, they genuinely seemed like they were different.”
