On saturday We Set Sail embarked on the recording of 3 new tracks, starting with drums. We have talked a lot about finding a space with the right sound. So in regular We Set Sail fashion, we didn’t go to some studio to record, oh no, we went to Fort fucking Lytton. That’s right, the heritage maritime naval fort built to protect our city from invading forces at the mouth of the brisbane river complete with all sorts of gnarley cannons ‘n shit. That’s where we found the sound.
